Brian is National Sales Director of urbanmedia, the wireless group sales house which specialises in onair, online and onstreet client solutions. Having conceived and launched the sales house in April 2016, Brian is responsible for leading a fantastic team on radio and digital specialists to deliver the best client solutions possible.

Brian has over 15 years in the radio industry. He joined UTV Radio Solutions, formerly named BMS, in June 2003 to take up the role of Senior Account Executive and was promoted to Sales Director in 2010. Since then the team have won numerous awards in the sales, creativity, research and client collaboration categories. Prior to joining BMS Brian worked during the launch phase of both Newstalk and 102.2 Lite FM in Dublin.

Brian has had a number of articles published on the Irish Radio Market including a recent study on the effectiveness of radio and digital. The study which showcased a multimedia campaign for a young Irish brand, Boutique Bake, was used by egta – The European centre for TV & radio advertising as well as by renowned US media blogger Fred Jacobs . He has also presented papers at numerous conferences on radio, audiences insights and the link between traditional and new media.

Brian is passionate about people and how to get the best out of them and in 2015 completed a Masters in Business and Leadership in UCD Smurfit Business School.
