Nigel has over 30 years’ experience within the advertising and media industry.  He started his career in Dublin at Young Advertising as a Media Executive and after four years, moved to London, where he worked for Saatchi & Saatchi and then Zenith Media at its inception in 1988.

 

Nigel played a valuable role at Zenith, ensuring his clients were satisfied with their media buying being split from their media planning and played a pivotal role in negotiating competitive deals with the broadcast owners.

 

The next challenge took him to the Middle East as Media Director of O&M to restructure the Media Buying Unit of Unilever Arabia and in 2000 he was headhunted by Starcom Worldwide to establish the Global Business Unit in London for their Procter & Gamble business.

In February 2003, he was appointed by Ebiquity Plc to set up their Irish office.

At the start of this year, Nigel set up a media consultancy company, Brophy Media Consulting as there is a gap in the Irish market to provide an alternative professional media auditing and consulting service.
