Corporate Brand Manager, Bord Na Móna
Since graduating from DIT in 2006, Sara has had a diverse career in Marketing and Communications. Starting her career in TG4 as a TV advertising coordinator, she moved to product marketing and has since found a passion for Corporate Marketing and the opportunity to work in the areas of reputation management, brand strategy, event management and CSR.
Starting in Bord na Móna in 2008 as a Marketing Assistant, Sara progressed to the Corporate Brand team by 2012. A highlight of this was working in a team of 2 who rebranded Bord na Móna, supported by a full 360 degree campaign. The rebrand has been short listed in the European Transform Awards in the category for Best Brand Development Project and shortlisted in the AIMS Brand Campaign Award category. She worked on the reputation strategy and brand strategy and mapped the results through RepTrak. Bord na Móna is an iconic Irish brand that was going to be left behind if it didn’t reinvent itself. Sara’s role as Corporate Brand Manager is to lead this change. Working on both the brand and reputation together would be fundamental to Bord na Móna’s success.
