Avril built much of her career within media agencies. When Avril started in media there were few commercial television opportunities and digital marketing was unheard of. Passionate about media, clients and people, she has been fortunate enough to work in an environment of constant change and opportunity, with media owners and clients that were prepared to “learn along the way”, as the media landscape evolved. Within this environment Avril held a variety of leadership roles working within agencies to design their product and approach. In the latter part of her career, she focused on leading EMEA and Global assignments for clients including Proctor and Gamble, Vodafone and GSK.
Today, Avril builds on her broad experience by advising media start-ups. Most recently, with Mediabridge Global a rapidly growing out of home media agency. Alongside this Avril, is a Non-Executive Director of Abbey Ltd and a Career Coach working with individuals to help them meet their potential within the workplace.
