
John Patten is the founder of Medialink and Digitize, Ireland’s largest independent media representation companies, working with Channel 4 TV, BBC.com, BBC Audio, IRS+, Samsung TV Plus, and ChannelFactory. He is also a founder of Converge Digital, the ad-tech company that helps both buyers and sellers in the advertising industry enhance their trading results.
Under John’s leadership, Digitize managed the sales and technical rollout of Digital Audio across 16 local radio stations for IRS+, bringing the Vocalise platform to market. The company also delivered a successful Samsung TV Plus launch in Ireland and previously represented Spotify, where it was recognised as the platform’s most successful local partner across all international markets.
With a career spanning over 30 years in both conventional and digital media, John is one of the longest-serving board members of TAM Ireland, where he has played a key role in strengthening the organisation’s research, finances, and the digital integration of its broadcaster members.
