Áine Ní Chaoindealbháin

Áine Ní Chaoindealbháin is Managing Director for Virgin Media Television. Ireland’s number one commercial broadcaster offering four free-to-air channels: Virgin Media One, Virgin Media Two, Virgin Media Three, Virgin Media Four and the Virgin Media Player and Virgin Media More, Virgin Media’s platform exclusive channel.   Prior to her appointment as Managing Director Áine was VMTV’s Deputy Managing Director, a role she held for 3 years. Before that Áine held the role of Director of Operations for four years and was responsible for Virgin Media Television’s technical innovation strategy and operational activities. During her twenty-five-year career she has held senior roles across a range of broadcasters, including General Manager of UTV Ireland and Sky News Ireland, and Head of Production at Setanta Sports, with previous experience in the independent sector and RTÉ.
