Kevin Cullinane


Kevin Cullinane has worked in aviation for the past 18 years with daa, the operator of Dublin and Cork airports. He has served as daa’s Group Head of Communications since May 2021 and prior to that as Head of Communications at Cork Airport.

In both roles Kevin has won multiple national and international awards for both airports and the daa Group including Best In House  Communications Team of the Year for the Moodies and the Branding, Communication & Digital Awards for the 2022 daa Annual Report from Chartered Accountants Ireland. He won a coveted European Public Affairs Award for his work leading to Cork Airport securing a foreign carrier permit for Norwegian to operate the first scheduled transatlantic service from Cork in 2017, as well as multiple national communications, advertising and digital marketing awards over his career.

Kevin recently served a two year term as Chair of the Airport Council International (ACI) Europe Communications Forum representing airports from over 45 European countries. He has been a member of Cork Chamber’s Transport and Infrastructure and Public Affairs Committees.

Kevin has served as a Director of Visit Cork, the regional business and consumer tourism body as well as on the Regional Executive Committee of Ibec – the Irish Employers Federation.

He served as World President of Junior Chamber International in 2005, the worldwide network of young business leaders and entrepreneurs in 123 countries and is an honours Business Studies Honours Graduate in Marketing from the University of Limerick.

Kevin hails from Cobh and commutes weekly between Dublin and Cork airports for his role.
