He occupied several roles with Saatchi’s in London and later in Asia where he ran the Hong Kong agency for a number of years.
For the last 26 years he has worked at Omnicom. Mike was the first employee of OMD and set up the first OMD network in Asia Pacific. From 2007-2019 he was Worldwide CEO of PHD where he was responsible for growing the network which was accomplished by winning global assignments from Unilever, GSK, HSBC, Volkswagen Group, Bayer, Ferrero and may others. PHD was Campaign’s Media Network of the year in 2015 and 2016 and in 2018 Mike was awarded as Campaign Global Agency Leader of the Year. PHD was one of the most awarded agencies at Cannes Lions repeatedly during this period.
In 2019 he became Group CEO for EMEA and APAC for Omnicom Media Group.
In 2022 he became Vice Chairman of Omnicom Europe and is also Associate Dean at Omnicom University, an in-house program that operates in conjunction with Harvard Business School.
He is also Deputy Chairman of the charity Alzheimer’s Research UK.
