Emer Lawn

Emer Lawn is the Managing Director of Starcom (part of Core), one of Ireland’s leading media agencies – representing prominent Irish and international brands such as AIB, Musgrave, Premier Lotteries Ireland and Samsung, among many others – for whom they have won several awards. Emer has been leading the Starcom team since August 2019, and became the Managing Director in October 2020.

Before this, Emer was Board Director in Mediaworks (now Zenith), where she led the development of the team’s digital communication solutions and leadership. She also served as a Board Director in Radical, responsible for the initial growth and continued development of the social media services within Core –becoming ‘Agency of the Year’ for over three years under her leadership.

Emer is a multi-award-winning communications practitioner, passionate about learning and development and is a regular Lecturer for Core Learning, having previously served on the faculty of the Digital Marketing Institute among others. She acts as Communications advisor to Quercus, a ‘women in business’ group for Director level women who excel in their fields.
